Hours: Full-Time Regular
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:45pm
Salary: $32,607 - $45,650 (DOE)

OVERVIEW:

Performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area.Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

Must obtain Serv Safe Certification for Instructors.
Must obtain Safe-Serve Train the Trainer Certification
Join local American Culinary Federation.
Member of Louisiana Restaurant Association

State certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization. No teaching experience required, however, if candidate is not state certified he/she must have practical experience in the subject/trade area. Must have the ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives.

Seeking Executive Sous Chef for full service, upscale hotel in Galveston. Ideal candidate is presently a culinary professional who enjoys working along side staff while overseeing the quality, production, and controls of this location. Requires 3 years experience in a similar role for a multi-outlet restaurant or hotel food operation. Experience in menu development, food and labor costs, training, and effective leadership is essential. Four diamond experience is a plus.
